Texas Water Parks

Whenever I hear the word Texas I always think about cowboys and horses running wild. I am sure that many other people think like this as well. However there is another side to this cowboy business and that is the wild and wet world of Texas water parks. These water parks are unique and filled to the brim with rides for everyone. For instance you can visit a place called Adventure Bay in Houston.

This is just one of the Texas water parks that you can visit. In Adventure Bay you will see the Master Blaster which is an uphill water coaster. You will also have fun on the Rio Lento lazy river, the Gulf Screams Speed Slides, the Rio Rapids and also on the Slide Winders flumes.

Another of the Texas water parks that you can have fun at is the Lost Lagoon. This Texas water park is found in San Antonio. The admission to this great water park is included in your admission to SeaWorld. While you are in this Texas water park you can have fun at a wave pool, a Splash Attack play area, there is the Lil Gators Lagoon which is a kids water play area. There are tube water slides and body slides that you can splash in.

Now many of you have heard about Six Flags Fiesta Texas right? Well there is one of the many Texas water parks affiliated to this park. This water park is called Armadillo Beach. In Armadillo Beach you can go on a family raft ride and see your entire family get wet through and through.

In addition to the usual complement of water slides and body slides you will also encounter a completely enclosed water slide where you spin, toss and slide in the dark all the way to the churning pool that is lying calmly in wait below you.

One of the more interesting Texas water parks that you can visit is that of the Schlitterbahn Beach in South Padre Island. This water park has a very unusual way for its visitors to go from one ride to another. You can call this “Transpotainment”. In this traveling method riders get to float from one water attraction to another one. This way they get to bypass the waiting in line for entrance.
